description: Spawn research agents on a topic and produce a Markdown + HTML report
---

Research: $@

1. **Date.** Run `date "+%A %Y-%m-%d %H:%M|%Y-%m-%d-%H%M"`. The part before `|` is TODAY, after it is STAMP. Never guess the date.

2. **Language.** If the topic contains Chinese characters, LANGUAGE is Chinese in the topic's script (Simplified or Traditional); otherwise it is the topic's language (default English).

3. **Research.** Spawn one or more `researcher` subagents — don't research yourself or answer from memory. Give each a distinct angle (e.g. one per competitor in a comparison; one per region or beat for news). Don't use jev-browser unless the topic asks for it. Start each task with:

       Today's date: <TODAY>
       Language: <LANGUAGE>
Current window: <the day or week that counts as current, for time-sensitive topics>

4. **Report.** Spawn a `report-writer` with the findings, starting its task with "Write the report in <LANGUAGE>." (Chinese: "全文使用中文撰写报告。"). Pass `output: "<STAMP>-<slug>.md"` as the subagent parameter (a filename in the task text does not override its default), where slug is a short English kebab-case topic name, e.g. `2026-09-25-1430-gpt-5-vs-claude-5-comparison.md`. It writes the `.md` and a matching `.html` beside it.

Don't ask me to clarify scope — make a reasonable call and proceed.
